A Dialogue between Gaga and Body-Aware Psychotherapy-The Skin as a Sensory Space
Dr. Shinar Pinkas-Samet & Saar Harari, Artistic Director of Gaga
A four-hour workshop exploring the meeting point between Gaga and Body-Aware Psychotherapy, focusing on the skin as a sensory field.
During the workshop we will practice the Gaga movement language developed by Ohad Naharin and reflect on Gaga-related concepts that resonate with ideas of skin, sensation, and the sensory field within body-aware psychotherapy. Through a somatic practice adapted for mental-health professionals, we will explore ways of bringing the body and embodied experience into the therapeutic clinic.
